Terms of Service

These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and RadixLux AB (Sweden), the operator of the NowhereThen app (the “App”). By using the App you agree to these terms; if you do not agree, please do not use the App.

The Service

The App lets you leave messages bound to a place and time, and join location-based rooms with people nearby. Your identity is a pseudonymous key generated on your device — there is no account on our servers, and your messages are end-to-end encrypted. You are responsible for keeping your device and recovery phrase safe: if you lose them, we cannot restore your identity or data. You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.

Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you create and share through the App. You grant us a license to host and make your content available to your chosen recipients. You are responsible for the content you share.

Prohibited Conduct — Zero Tolerance

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You must not use the App to:

• share content that is illegal, threatening, harassing, hateful, or defamatory;
• share sexual content involving minors, or any content that sexualizes or endangers children;
• stalk, intimidate, or harass others, or reveal someone’s private information without consent;
• impersonate others or misrepresent who you are;
• send spam or unsolicited commercial content;
• interfere with, probe, or disrupt the service or other users’ use of it.

Reporting and Moderation

You can report room messages from their long-press menu, report direct messages from their detail view, block senders of direct messages, and mute participants in a room. Reports are reviewed promptly — normally within 24 hours. We may remove content, delete rooms, and eject or ban users who violate these terms, at our sole discretion and without prior notice. Room admins may additionally delete messages for everyone in rooms they administer. You do not need to use the app to report content, appeal a moderation decision, or make a complaint: the full route — open to non-users affected by content too — is at nowherethen.com/safety. How report data is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.

Beta Software

During the beta (TestFlight) period the App is pre-release software: features may change or be removed, service interruptions are expected, and server-side data may be reset before public launch. Do not rely on the App as your only copy of anything important.

Termination

You can stop using the App at any time and delete your identity and data from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your access to the service if you violate these terms.

Disclaimers and Liability

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, RadixLux AB is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. If you are a consumer, you also keep any mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.

Changes and Contact
